Children and Family Ministry
Children and Family Ministry - Core Values:
CUMC Children and Family Ministry aspires to be a spiritual community where children and families get to know God, each other, and themselves. Children and families come together to learn about God’s purpose in their personal lives and the world at large. We accomplish this by creating opportunities for children and families to live their spiritual purpose via: learning experiences (Sunday School, worship, prayer and devotionals), social gatherings (fellowship, parties and events), and building community and connections (within and outside of the church) through service opportunities, outreach, and more.
Self-serve nursery
The nursery is a quaint room at the right wing of the sanctuary.
Parents are invited to use the nursery during the 10am Worship Service to play, nurse/feed children, use the changing table or rocking chairs, etc. Audio is piped in so parents don’t miss hearing the messages, scriptures, sermon, songs, etc.
Sunday school for preschool - 5th grade:
Sunday School takes place during the Sanctuary Worship Service. The Sanctuary Worship Service begins at 10:00 am and Sunday School takes place from about 10:15-11:00 am. Each week we learn a different Bible Story and get to know more about God, Jesus, and just how much we are loved!
