We are all on a journey to become the people that God designed us to be. Our journey follows the teachings of Jesus and integrates them into our daily lives.

The Discipleship Development Team seeks to provide fellowship, resources, and direction for this journey, which we believe is the most important journey of our lives. We honor each individual’s experience, questions, discernment, and learning style with a diversity of opportunities to grow and learn. We welcome all who are called to grow in faith regardless of their age or the stage of their faith journey.

 Weekly Discipleship Opportunities

  • Women’s Bible Study: Each Monday morning we meet to learn more about the Bible. The group meets Monday mornings at 9:30 in the Social Hall. Contact Kathee Tyson. All are welcome.

  • Men’s Spirituality Group: This group of early risers meets weekly on Tuesday mornings at 6:30am over Zoom. It is open to all men. Contact Chris Warner-Carey for more info and the Zoom link.

  • Pastor’s Bible Study: This Tuesday morning group studies the passage for the upcoming week’s worship service. Tuesday mornings 10-11am upstairs in Sweeny Ridge. Contact Lisa Warner-Carey for more info

  • Pastor’s Bible Study - Craft & Spirit: Join the Craft & Spirit group each Wednesday as we make a craft project tied to a brief devotional. This group meets Wednesdays from 10-11:30am in the Creative Arts Rooms (former preschool rooms off of the playground). Make sure to sign up each week in order to plan for materials.

Devotional Materials

  • Meditations on the Prophets: Delivered daily to your email in-box! Take a new look at some of the Old Testament Minor Prophets. Enjoy a meditation, a chapter of the Bible with questions, and a hymn. If you would like to receive these daily devotionals email Kathee Tyson.

  • Upper Room Devotionals: The current edition of the Upper Room booklets are available. They are available in the narthex of the sanctuary. More Upper Room resources are available online.
