Monthly SOCIAL Opportunities

  • Knitting Knot: Gather together with other knitters to share projects and get new ideas. The group meets monthly after church at 11:15 in the Social Hall. Contact Heather Holden—Bodmann.

  • Meet, Eat & Greet Luncheon: This lively group of seniors meets at church monthly for a delicious lunch and interesting conversation. Contact Paul McReynolds or Ginny Cowen.

  • Book Club: Friday nights are for bibliophiles! The third Friday night each month, a group of avid readers get together to discuss their monthly selection. Contact Penny O’Neal for more info.

  • CUMC Hikes: Do you love to explore our beautiful Coastside? Meet up with this energetic group for exercise and laughter while enjoying our local, beautiful trails. Each month is different. Dates and details available on the church calendar. For more info contact Melanie Bruner.

  • Men’s Breakfast: Start your Saturday off right with pancakes, eggs, bacon and plenty of smiles at the monthly Men’s Breakfast. Contact Dick Johnson for more info.

  • Open Studio at the Spirit & Art Center: Stop by the Spirit & Art Center at CUMC on Saturday mornings from 9-12. Bring your own project or use the many supplies available here. Email Kim Hines to let her know you’re coming.
